CanPay Unveils Zero-Cost Gift Card Solution For Cannabis Retailers And Merchants

CanPay, a cannabis-focused, pioneering pay-by-bank app and payments network, announced the launch of its free merchant gift card program.

The new program allows merchants to issue and manage gift cards at no cost. Whether a retailer is introducing gift cards for the first time or already offers them and wants to reduce expenses, they can now do it entirely free using CanPay’s platform, CanPaz said on Thursday.

“With this free gift card program open to all businesses, we’re removing one of the last barriers for merchants — cost — and enabling every retailer, including those in regulated industries, to engage customers, build loyalty, and drive incremental sales without paying for the privilege,” CanPay’s CEO, Dustin Eide, said.

Under the program, there are no merchant fees. From traditional stores and chains to dispensaries and other regulated cannabis businesses, everyone can now offer gift cards through CanPay.

For merchants who already offer gift cards, the new program eliminates costs while boosting profit margins by switching to CanPay’s free solution.

For those new to gift cards, under the new program, the previous barriers of cost and complexity are easily overcome with a zero-cost, easy-to-use program.
